Cheryl Scalia

Cheryl is a USFS & ISI Professional Coach and a rated member of the Professional Skater’s Association. She is certified in Sports Science and Medicine and has also completed the Hockey Accreditation Program through the PSA.

She enjoys teaching skaters of all ages, tots through adults, of all levels, beginner through senior. Cheryl has been teaching skaters as a professional for over 30 years.

Specializing in all fields of figure skating and hockey skills, Cheryl teaches private and semi-private lessons at a number of area rinks, and also the instructor/director at other area skating programs.

Nicole Jackson

Nicole started skating in Billerica in 1979 and She began taking private lessons soon after. Nicole graduated from our Badge program in 1985 and continue taking private lessons through college.  She started volunteering as an instructor at a young age and has now been a part of our coaching team for over 27 years. Nicole really enjoys teaching and sharing her love and passion for figure skating. While off the ice, Nicole works full time as an Executive Assistant.

Karen Girouard

Karen Girouard started figure skating in Billerica in 1983 and graduated from the badge program in 1993.  She started volunteering as an instructor and has now been a part of our coaching team for over 15 years. Karen really enjoys working with kids and passing on her passion for figure skating. While off the ice, Karen is also a certified group fitness instructor and a certified yoga instructor.  

OUR JUNIOR COACHES:

The Junior instructors were all participants of our program.

These instructors spend hours each week to perfect their skating/coaching skills.

The dedication that these junior coaches show to the children and to the sport of skating is truly admirable.
